With the goal of democratizing access to robotics, I have led OpenBionics and MuSHR, focusing on the development of open-source, highly functional robots for manipulation and navigation respectively. Our robots have been used by hundreds of researchers, practicioners, and educators worldwide and have received prestigious distinctions including the 2nd place at the Hackaday Prize, and the Robotdalen International Innovation Award. Hardware and software are available on Github: OpenBionics; MuSHR.
